VBS 2009 Kicks Off!

VBS 2009 "Camp Yazoo" kicked off it's first day of two on Wednesday morning, May 27.  Children aged 4 years through rising 6th grade enjoyed a morning of singing, games and Bible study at the church.  After an energizing time of singing in the chapel all of the "campers" spent the rest of the morning moving through 3 stations as the learned about the different names of God.  The stations focused on 3 of the many different names God gives us for himself:  God our Provider, God our Peace, and God our Righteousness.
