8/01/09 - Travelin Day

Well, our motto for this trip, "Semper Gumby," or, "Always Flexible," has proven to be a providential motto.  As we said, originally we had two separate departing flights from Jackson to Dallas, then we would all be on the same flight from Dallas to Belize.  Well, our first snag was Jo and Fred getting bumped from the first flight without a clue as to when they'd be able to catch another flight.  THEN, the 10:30am flight which Sam, Collin and Elliott were scheduled to be on to Dallas was cancelled due to poor take off conditions in Dallas.

SO, the good folks at American Airlines re booked Fred, Jo, Elliott, Sam and Collin to leave Jackson at 4:00pm.  They will stay the night in Dallas tonight then fly out at 12:55pm tomorrow and be in Belize by 2:45pm.  Needless to say, it's been an interesting morning, but the 5 that have been left behind have been lounging at Elliott's parents before they take off this afternoon.

Meanwhile, Jeppie, Snooky, Terri and Beverly should be arriving in Belize this afternoon where, upon landing, they will be picked up by our MTW contacts and shuttled to the hotel, given dinner, and then they will have a nice Lord's Day with the believers there.

So, we've hit a little snag, but nothing a little patience can't take care of.  Thanks for your prayers!
